Herts Young Homeless (countywide)
Provide support to individuals ages between 16 and 24 experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

New Hope (Watford)
New Hope provide a 24-7 emergency helpline 0300 012 0168. Their main office number is 01923 210680 and e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
New hope have access to over 60 beds including an emergency night shelter, move on properties and specialist support for those with alcohol addiction. Referral is via the outreach team who can be contacted Monday to Friday 09:00 - 12:30 on 01923 801188.
Haven support centre - open Monday to Saturday 09:00 - 12:30 providing food and essential services. There is a mental health support service Monday to Friday 10:00 - 16:00. The centre is located at 4, Whippendell Road, Watford and can be contacted on 01923 801382.
Open Door (St Albans)
Emergency night shelter - has separate rooms and is open to over 18 year olds, 365 days a year. Referral is through relevant agencies or by calling into their drop-in (day) centre. For advice contact 01727 859113.
Day centre - provides lunch and support services. Open Monday to Friday 13:00 - 14:30.
YMCA (various locations)
This organisation has hostels available in Bishops Stortford (01279 838068) and Watford (01923 353600).
Day centres - YMCA operate so-called "space" day centres including one in Stevenage (1 Town Square) and others in Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield. These provide befriending and IT facilities as well as signposting local information.
